Introducing Realtors Collective: A Unique Collaboration Opportunity with Fellow Realtors

Do you wish there was more collaboration within the real estate industry? Want to learn from the best of the best and apply it to your day to day work? What if you could learn from top realtors in a friendly, collaborative environment with like-minded professionals?

Even if ‘collaboration’ hasn’t often been associated with our industry, times they are a-changin!

High Growth Life is proud to introduce the first Realtors Collective in-person event, June 9th in Surrey, B.C.

Realtors Collective, a live symposium for realtors to come together, pools all our extensive expertise and provides an opportunity to discuss some of the most pressing problems affecting our industry today. Top on the agenda is the issue of how to improve professionalism in the midst of a changing industry.

Realtors Collective is a FREE event, and it is LIVE — yes, you read that correctly — this symposium is a free, in-person event for realtors based in the lower mainland and Vancouver Island. It is taking place on June 9, 2022 from 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM PDT, at the Sheraton Guildford, 15269 104 Ave, Surrey, BC V3R 1N5. It is free, but spaces are limited, so please register early.

Share ideas with fellow realtors to improve the industry

While Zoom was fun for maybe the first week or so, the novelty sure wore off quickly. We all know that networking and the exchange of ideas happens best when it can happen organically in a relaxed yet focused atmosphere, with a multitude of expert opinions working off one another. Live events are perfect for this type of exchange, with their mix of a formal panel of experts with time for questions and answers as well as the more informal discussions that can happen over a cocktail.

We’re facing an overvalued real estate market, spurred on by low inventory, decades of under- building and low interest rates. Did BC’s foreign home buyers tax achieve the stated goal of opening up more housing supply? Will the higher interest rates that will likely arrive in 2022 calm the situation and avert a collapse? How does high inflation factor into the mix? Real Estate is usually considered to be a sound investment. Is this still true in the current market? These are some of the macro questions surrounding our industry. But our industry is also facing a PR problem.

There is a belief among the public that realtors are all wildly successful and some of that success is at their expense. The British Columbian Government has been itching to increase its regulation of our once self-regulated industry, administering heavy fines to those realtors who violate the ever-growing number of rules. Is this the way to improve public perception of our industry? What do you think? Is there another way?

Inspiration can flow as freely as ideas in this energized atmosphere. Other topics to be explored are:

  • What works and doesn’t work in real estate
  • How to generate more leads & close more sales
  • How to achieve the perfect work/life balance
  • How to market your services, and what mistakes to avoid
  • The difference between transactional vs relationship realtors
  • How to recognize disruptive technology and how to adapt

Multiple Panels of Top-Notch B.C. Realtors

Phil Hahn

Phil Hahn didn’t become a top 1% REALTOR® by following the status quo and sticking to the same old script. He did it by recognizing opportunities, creating connections, and giving 110% to every client, every day. Unsatisfied with being the best of the best, Phil sought new challenges and discovered eXp Realty. After reviewing the numbers and long-term strategy, he recognized the fledgling brokerage’s potential and joined them as a mentor.
